Australian's Head to DF95 Global Championship

Seventy-eight boats from fourteen nations will be competing in the 2023 DF95 Global Challenge to be hosted by Fleetwood MYPBC, Fleetwood UK from 12th-19th May.

The Fleetwood event will be the first Global Challenge since being held in 2018 on Lake Hubbard in Dallas, USA and competitors have been given advance warning from the locals to "prepare your boats well, 25 knots of wind and half metre waves happen at Fleetwood!  Waterproofing is essential."

Sounds like a whole lot of fun!

Seven Australian's making the journey are Bruce Robins (WA), Chris Dance (VIC), John Wyatt (NSW), Andrew Donkin (WA), Richard Fisher (TAS), Phil Burgess (NSW), Peter Newman (VIC) and will be joining sailors from Bermuda, Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland, Sweden, UK and USA to compete in the event.
